Today I lost my wallet in Ann Arbor, which would have meant that I would have no money and just one tank of gas to make it all the way to Connecticut. Retracing my steps in an unfamiliar city rife with one-way streets and the longest traffic lights I've ever experienced was, needless to say, super un-fun. But then I got a phone call from a lovely girl (who happens to go to Gustavus!) who returned it to me, not thirty minutes after I discovered it lost.
Now I'm happily relaxing in a coffee shop, loving this town, loving this thunderstorm, feelin' pretty darn good about everything.
