My brain worked hard today. It did last night too--I was peppered with thoughts of the Doppler effect (frequencies! wavelengths! velocities!) as I was trying to fall asleep--but today the "stretch your mind" thinking was constant and grueling. As challenging as it was, today did a lot to remind me of my favorite parts of math and science (which I desperately needed after last semester), plus work doesn't feel so much like work when you love what you're doing.

But for tonight I'm going to forget about all this, drink some hot tea, and get my Texas on.
